We started the day off strong, but by mid-day the old 1.6l engine finally gave out. This put us out of the race for the remainder of the day.
We spent the remaining day and well into the night sourcing a new engine and parts and swapping the motor in our pit stall. By 1am in the morning we fired her back up and we were ready to go for the next day.
